What matters most is what lasts the longest and families are for eternity.

I have the honor of capturing the raw, beautiful, and transformative moments of birth for incredible mamas and families, who want to remember the powerful, tender details of bringing new life into the world – moments they’ll cherish forever.
hi!
I’m Lisa, a passionate birth and lifestyle photographer based in Martinez, GA, and the heart and soul behind This Little Lens Photography. While I’m relatively new to the professional world, I’ve been behind the lens of a camera for as long as I can remember, capturing life’s beauty through my camera. But it’s the sacred, powerful experience of birth that truly inspires me and fills my soul.
Birth is a fleeting, life-altering moment, and I’m beyond honored to document these intimate, awe-inspiring experiences. Every birth is a unique, empowering story—much like my four incredible children, each with their own extraordinary entrance into the world. I have had a birth that started in a birth center and ended with an emergency hospital transfer, a birth in a birth center, a precipitous hospital birth, a home birth, and an ectopic pregnancy. I’ve witnessed the beauty of birth in all its forms. I believe that every birth is magical in its transformative power, and I strive to capture that magic in every photograph I capture.
After moving around quite a bit, I feel like I’ve finally found my place here in Martinez, Georgia, where I can’t wait to build roots and create a lasting community. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me soaking up the outdoors—hiking, camping, or simply relaxing in a hammock while my kids run wild. I’m also a big fan of watching movies with my kiddos and eating copious amounts of popcorn (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter are favorites around here). And if I happen to snatch a few peaceful moments, I might be snuggled up on the couch with a warm cup of Bengal Spice tea.
I’m deeply committed to preserving the moments that matter most, ensuring they don’t fade with time. I can’t wait to help you freeze these once-in-a-lifetime memories, so they’ll last for generations to come. Let’s make your story unforgettable.
Birth photography tells a story…
Not many people realize professional birth photography exists. Even if they’ve heard of it, they may wonder, "Why would anyone want that captured?" But birth photography is so much more than a snapshot of a baby being born—it's about telling the story of love, anticipation, and connection.
It captures the moments leading up to your baby’s arrival: the first time you see them, hear their cry, and hold them close. Whether your birth happens at home, in a field, in a hospital, or via cesarean, these fleeting moments deserve to be preserved. Labor is often a blur, and as much as we believe we’ll remember every detail, the truth is we don’t. A birth photographer freezes those moments so you can relive the beauty of meeting your tiny human for the rest of your life.
Imagine your partner’s face when they first see your baby, the soft wrinkles and tiny details of your newborn, and your birth team lovingly supporting you. These are memories worth cherishing.
Birth photography is empowering. It shows you the strength and beauty of your body and captures the tender, love-filled connections that make your baby’s story unique. It also allows your partner to be in the frame, fully present in the moment.
Like a wedding day, your baby’s birth is monumental. It’s a day worth documenting, not just for you but for your child to look back on someday. Birth photography is a gift—one that lasts a lifetime. Let’s tell your story together.

Only if you want it to be. I can get pictures of baby crowning and being born or I can stay by your head or to the side and avoid any super up-close and personal shots. It’s totally up to you. We can go over all your preferences at your consultation.
-
I will arrive when you are in active labor (usually 5-6 cm). I am prepared to arrive in your birth space at any time day or night. If you have a history of fast labor or have had previous deliveries, I will arrive earlier.
-
I will stay for about 1-3 hours after delivery so I can capture weighing and measuring of baby, first snuggles with mom and dad, meeting siblings, etc.
If I cannot capture those first moments following birth because of baby being transferred to the NICU, I will come back to capture those moments when you are ready for me or we can switch to a fresh 48 or newborn lifestyle session.
-
Most hospitals only allow one person in the operating room with you and often do not allow photographers into the OR. On rare occasions, exceptions can be made by the anesthesiologist and/or doctor. I will do my best to be able to be allowed back with you and your support person, but in the event I am not allowed in, I will get pictures of baby in the nursery and be waiting in your recovery room as soon as you arrive back from surgery. There are still so many beautiful moments that we can capture!
For a scheduled caesarean, I offer to meet you at the hospital to capture your story, from the time you walk in the doors of the hospital, pre-op moments, and stay to capture the precious moments once in your recovery room.
If you talk to your doctor and they are okay with me joining you in the OR, I would be thrilled to capture those moments for you!

A minimum of 100 images will be delivered via online gallery where you are free to download and share as many as you like.
-
A small number of my clients choose not to share images online, and I 100% respect that choice. If you do choose to let me use images online I will be respectful of anything you specifically wish not to share.
-
Yes! Once you have secured your due date with a 50% retainer, you can choose to pay a little each month, as long as the balance is paid by 37 weeks.
-
I will meet with you at least once before your birth to discuss your birth history, if any. We will discuss, in detail, when to call me in labor. I take a limited number of births per month to do my best to avoid overlap in births!
However, birth is unpredictable! In the rare event I miss your birth, I will start documenting as soon as I arrive and return the following day for a Fresh 48 session at hospital/home or schedule a Lifestyle Newborn session. We will discuss all these details at your consultation.
